Smart EV Chargers
The EV industry is constantly bursting with innovation, and what better time than the New Year to talk EV 2023 predictions and new releases coming to the market this year?
With the UK banning the sale of new petrol and diesel cars in 2030, we expect to see lots of car manufacturers accelerate their transition to electric vehicles. Hyundai is aiming for a 10% rise in global sales in 2023, with a huge push towards electric vehicles. With manufacturers such as Hyundai and Kia shifting towards electric, this will hopefully provide more cost-effective solutions to the electric vehicle market. With this push towards electric, manufacturers like Hyundai are going to be unveiling a high-performance EV, a promising advancement in the world of sustainable travel.
We also expect to see a greater demand for EV, there are now over 620,000 battery-electric cars on UK roads, and this demand will only increase in 2023. Whilst undoubtedly there will still be post-pandemic supply chain issues, this should be less of an issue, and it is also likely that the greater demand for EVs will see Chinese manufacturers, such as BYD, expand to Europe. Giving a greater selection of EVs available.
In Forbes’ prediction for 2023, they suggested that this may be the year that Tesla releases its FSD. This is still in beta in the USA and has received criticism, so it will be interesting to see how this plays out in 2023 and how its release impacts the EV market
This all-electric SUV follows on from the E-Tron and features an upgraded battery to previous models, with a 281-mile range and an improved charging performance. Allowing you to charge at home and have peace of mind, giving you a practical solution and reducing your emissions.
Kia is taking the electric car market by storm, and with its recent success of its EV6 being the ‘what car of the year 2022,’ It’s no surprise that we are excited by their EV9 coming in 2023. This car has a solar panel built into the bonnet, and its interior is made of sustainable material. This will be a great vehicle for all-terrain and boasts a huge range of 300 miles. It is one to watch.
If range is what you’re after from your electric vehicle in 2023, look no further than Hyundai’s Ioniq 6. With its profile making it extremely aerodynamic, this allows you a massive 338 miles of range. Excellent if you want to charge at home and efficiently complete long journeys.
If you’re looking for a smaller option, the Abarth 500e is a perfect choice out of this year’s new releases. It will give you a 140-mile range, which is great for urban living and anyone who requires a car for shorter journeys.
